Hey y'all! As I mentioned in one of my last couple posts, I recently went and got a pedicure from this nail salon that just opened by the Starbucks I work at. (For Dallas people - it's at Preston and Frankford in north Dallas and is called Venice Nails) They were doing 40% off services so a few of the other girls I work with and I set up an appointment and got pedicures!
I was really excited because my friend Sarah picked one of my polishes to use and she picked Zoya Charla! She loved it :)
I decided to go with the "Cucumber Pedicure" (they also had Lavender, Milk and Honey, Sunkissed, Tea Infusion, maybe a couple others I can't remember). They put like a scrub on my legs, lotion, warm oil and rubbed warm stones on my calves, massaged my calves for FOREVER (which was amazing), put my feet in a bag of wax, the whole nine yards! The pedicure was supposed to last an hour but it was at least an hour and fifteen minutes, probably more like 90 minutes by the time I let it dry and walked out the door. $27 well spent, it was pure relaxation!
Here is a picture of my legs with lotion and cucumber slices on them, haha! The other girls were LOLing in their seats! It's cool though, my legs felt sooooo smooth afterwards!
As you can see, I chose Zoya Pippa for my color, topped with Ulta Pinata-Yada-Yada for some bling! Believe it or not, it actually tones down the yellow nicely!
What do you guys think?

Revlon Gold Coin
I had a big makeup haul at Walgreens yesterday - so excited!! For $25 I got a Covergirl blush and eyeliner, two Maybelline eye shadow quads, two Sinful Colors polishes, two Revlon polishes, a Sally Hansen polish, and a Wet n Wild polish! Yeah!! I had some coupons and they did some "register rewards" but anyways, I was happy haha!
Here is one of the Revlon polishes I got for $2.99, then got $3 in Register Rewards so it wound up being free! It's called Gold Coin and it's one of their metallic colors. A side note - the labels they use on their polishes are printed in a gold color so it was pretty much unreadable considering the nail color is gold....just a logistical thing but I notice these things since I can be detail oriented haha!
I used two coats here plus a Wet n Wild clear topcoat. For those of you who have Zoya Trixie, this is like her golden sister. Formula not quite as nice as Zoya but lovely color! If you happen to find this on sale I'd definitely recommend picking it up. Very pretty gold foil!
And of course I love sparkle so I thought, I have to see what this looks like with OPI Spark de Triomphe on top! I just did one extra coat, the sparkle is noticeable but mostly subtle. I'm sure in sunlight this would be lovely!

OPI A to Zurich!
Hey y'all I'm back with a new swatch - a RED! Wow...I never wear these, but I was browsing at Target with a gift card and this lovely just called my name! I think this is going to be a really nice color for fall, it's a great cranberry color, or maybe like a dark red apple color? It's definitely not a brick color like I kind of thought it would be at first.
On to the photos!!

What do you guys think? I really like it! :)

Grape Shimmer - Franken!
Hi everyone! I'm finally back for an update, yay! I have been sooo busy lately, my nails have been naked more than painted but...oh well. I recently indulged in a pedicure, since a salon just opened next to the Starbucks I work at! They were doing 40% off and it was sooo luxurious! But anyways, I'll post a couple pics of that in a later entry so I won't spoil anything else :)
On to the good stuff!
Here is my fifth Franken, I call it Grape Shimmer! It is a mixture of OPI Funky Dunkey (Zoya Mira dupe...I prefer Mira's formula but I thought I'd rather use up Funky Dunkey instead of Mira if it turned out badly haha!) plus a little clear polish, mixed with Sally Hansen HD nail color in DVD. You may remember that Zoya Mira and Sally Hansen DVD made up one of my favorite manicures ever - so I thought I'd try and create something similar, a nice purple with the purple/blue shimmer of DVD mixed in. Well, the shimmer is a little more subtle than I'd like, but that's ok! It's a nice alternative to layering the two polishes, but gives you a similar look!

Sorry these two are rotated funky! I didn't realize til I uploaded it to Blogger and now can't figure out how to rotate them, haha! Anyways...You can't see the shimmer too much on the nail but it shows up nicely in the bottle! In person the shimmer is visible but not overly so.
These photos are all three coats of Grape Shimmer plus Zoya Armor topcoat.
Next I added China Glaze silver crackle! It seemed to work a little better than OPI Silver Shatter for me, but I'm just happy to have a shatter bottle that isn't all funky and dried up at the top! I topped this with two coats of Zoya Armor top coat.
And because I can't resist sparkle, I added a couple coats of China Glaze Fairy Dust on top of all that!! It looked very sparkly in the sunlight :)

Zoya Promo!
Hey y'all! I'm almost done with this work stretch, yeah! Tuesday is my next day off, yippee! I'm going to post a photo of my last franken - it's not named yet. I'll give you a hint, though, it's purple and has shimmer! I also have a photo of a Deborah Lippmann polish I wore last week! I haven't had time to upload it just yet, eek!
Anyways, I just wanted to make a quick post to tell y'all about the latest Zoya promo! You know I love my Zoya's, so of course anytime they have a promo (which is like once a month! Awesome!) I am all over it. This latest promo is: Buy anything (that isn't a spoon) on the Zoya/Qtica page, and get TWO nail polishes for FREE!
So for $15 (after shipping), I am getting Armor Top Coat, Petra, and Yummy, plus a spoon of America! I don't usually wear reds but I figure every girl should have a classic red in her stash!
If you have a Zoya account, there SHOULD be a code on your account. Log in, go to 'My Account' and then click 'My Coupons and Promotions'. It should be noted - it is a one time use code! So once you use it - that's it! Make sure your order is right before you order and then realize you forgot something! :) The promo is good until Friday August 12th at 11:59 PM Eastern. You can order Zoya products from Zoya.com!
Did you take advantage of Zoya's latest promo? If so, what did you get?
