Pink Wednesday Mani!

Hey y'all! Here is a Pink Wednesday manicure I did not too long ago! I recently picked up China Glaze 108 Degrees, so I thought I'd have a little sassy pink fun!

First, because I'm so excited about my camera functioning properly for once....Look! My camera managed to capture some of the shimmer from China Glaze's White Cap on my ring finger! I put it on top of my accent finger of OPI Sweet Memories to add a little extra something!

On my pointer finger, I tested out a shade that I got in my swap with Polish Sis, because I thought it looked similar, but it turned out to be fairly different! Similar finish, just a bit darker. At any rate, they are all in the same color family, so I don't mind my range of pinks! The middle finger and pinky are both 108 Degrees.

With flash! You can really see the blue-ish shimmer in 108 Degrees!

A darker picture. As you can see, Snow Cap is a gorgeous golden shimmery shade, in one coat it delivers a lovely golden shimmer, but I wouldn't try wearing it on it's own. It appears like a pearl in the bottle!

And here's so you can see White Cap in the bottle! It adds the most beautiful subtle shimmer and will look wonderful on top of everything!! I'm so happy I got it (and on sale too!)!

Well this was a fun pink mani that I enjoyed wearing! I've discovered I really love light pink colors and I think it might be my favorite manicure color! I just got Zoya Erika when they did the 2 Free promo a few weeks back (and I got Sooki too!) and I LOVE it, it's basically a gorgeous barbie pink with the same golden shimmer that White Cap delivers, but in one polish instead of two! I'll show you soon!

OPI Sweet Memories

Hi friends! Today I have a lovely little pink from OPI, Sweet Memories. I originally bought this earlier in the summer to wear under OPI I Lily Love You, but it's a very pretty pale pink on its own too!

Sooo gorgeous!

I think this was two coats. As usual OPI's formula was very good, a tad thick but its easily controlled!

I then decided to top it with a new one I picked up from Walgreens - Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Rock Candy! It's a peachy colored base packed with lots of iridescent glitter, similar to the glitter in I Lily Love You, but obviously no flakies :( The base color does go on almost totally clear, you wouldn't have to worry about seeing it over a darker color, for sure. I like Rock Candy over Sweet Memories, it adds a little sparkle without being over the top! :)

On my thumb is Petites black with OPI I Lily Love You, two coats
On my pointer is Petites black with OPI Sparkle Teal Sunrise, two coats
On my middle finger is Petites Pretty In Pink with OPI I Lily Love You, one coat
On my ring finger is OPI Sweet Memories with OPI I Lily Love You, one coat
On my pinky finger is just OPI Sweet Memories

I reallllly liked my thumb! Originally I was experimenting because I want to do a new pedi but couldn't decide on a color. I may do the black with Sparkle Teal Sunrise but I can't see myself keeping that on for a very long time so I may not. My middle finger inspired my franken from yesterday's post :)

Here is a close up of my lovely thumb!! I love the flakies and I love how the pink base in ILLY just totally disappears into the black polish and all you're left with is the gorgeous sparkles! There is a huge flakie towards the top right area, I was obsessed with it, haha! Anyways the shimmer gives it sort of an oil slick effect but not quite, which I like! :)

What do you guys think? (Sorry for the bad iPhone pics. I need to call Sony about my camera!)
